For the past 18 months, news of mass resignations has been heard from all quarters. In this phenomenon called ‘Great Resignation,’ many lakhs quit their jobs. Many people have even taken a job because of a friend or other close person who inspired them to quit. For some, the reason is boredom.
The race starts at 9 am. It will continue till 6 pm. The few hours you get with your family when you get home. Then food and sleep. It is the same routine for most of the people who are officers. Boredom begins with this thought. If the workplace or environment does not make you happy, this boredom will eat away at you. The next thought would be resignation. But is this a reason to resign? Experts say it is enough to think about resignation only after reading the following five reasons.
- Learn new things.
Only if you keep learning new things will you progress in the job. If you look around and don’t see new opportunities or opportunities to learn and grow, you can think about leaving your job. - Learning is not about new skills but about lessons to be learned.
If what you learn from the workplace is ordinary skills but lessons to get out of, it can be considered an unhealthy place. For example, you won’t learn work-related lessons to survive in a hostile work environment or personal hateful co-workers, but lessons to overcome them. - Do you refer acquaintances to the organization you work for?
Do you refer acquaintances to the organization you work for? If the answer is no, you need to consider that institution. You don’t deserve to be if it’s a no-go for your acquaintances. - Does it affect your confidence?
If your job affects your confidence, you must find another job as soon as possible. - Is your work taking a toll on your health?
Do you have a stressful job? Then it would help if you thought about that job. It is better not to waste health and life in a stressful environment.
